Michael Saylor proposes five digital asset rights, calls for allowing financial firms to custody bitcoin

Michael Saylor said individuals and companies should be guaranteed five equal rights over digital assets, including creating, issuing, custody, transfer and use. He argued that in an AI-driven economy the United States should broaden capital-raising routes so 10,000,000 new companies can raise funds. Saylor also called for banks to be allowed to custody bitcoin and lend against it, criticised Basel rules, urged competition in stablecoin issuance and interest, and sought clearer transaction reporting thresholds.
