Qualcomm Adreno Neural Fusion benchmark shows higher frames, 1.1W power use
Qualcomm\'s Adreno Neural Fusion, which uses AI to render game visuals, reduced smartphone gaming power use in a public benchmarking session at Snapdragon Summit 2026. Using a new in-house benchmark called Traverse Evolve on a Qualcomm reference device with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, average frame rates rose from 17.7 frames per second in native mode to 49.2 in ANF Upscale mode. With both modes held at the same frame rate, power use fell from 6.2W to 1.1W.
