Bitcoin’s price in 2030 may be influenced more by regulatory changes, the spread of AI-based payments, stablecoin growth and reduced supply after halvings than by another retail-led rally, an outlook said. It added that how deeply bitcoin is integrated into existing financial and technology infrastructure could determine its price range. U.Today outlined three scenarios, ranging from $80,000 to $1 million, depending on institutional adoption, regulation and payment infrastructure.

Grayscale to split Zcash spot ETF ZCSH 3 for 1 to boost investor access
Grayscale’s Zcash spot exchange-traded fund, ZCSH, will carry out a 3-for-1 stock split. Existing shareholders will receive two additional shares for each share they hold, and split-adjusted trading will begin on Sept. 30. The move aims to lower the per-share price without changing the fund’s value to improve access for individual investors. The split follows sharp rises in Zcash and the ETF, which has attracted more than $233 million since listing.

A resurfaced post from a bitcoin forum dated Sept. 7, 2010, shows early miners questioned whether earning 50 bitcoin per block was worth the electricity used. A user calculated a home computer drew about 140 watts and would take about 14 days to mine a block, consuming about 47.3 kWh, or $5.68 at 12 cents per kWh. The thread also discussed GPU mining, performance gains and rising network difficulty.
