Elice Group, Standard Energy target global market with AI PMDC
Elice Group said on Wednesday it signed an MOU with Standard Energy to jointly develop a power solution combining AI modular data centres with vanadium ion batteries. The companies aim to improve power stability, fire safety and energy efficiency amid rising data centre demand driven by the spread of AI services. They will develop modular UPS and BESS systems optimised for PMDCs and advance an AI-based energy management system.

Elice Group unveils AI full-stack strategy centered on K-PMDC
Elice Group held a media briefing at its headquarters in Seoul on April 15 and announced a business strategy spanning AI infrastructure and education. The company said the core is a domestically developed portable modular data centre that can cut build times to about three months and supports Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72. It also introduced a GPU spot pricing plan, expanded partnerships to build a domestic AI infrastructure ecosystem, and plans to integrate document analysis and generative AI while widening enterprise training.
