Sherpa Soft acquires SMT Information Technology to boost synergy in DB performance management
Sherpa Soft, a database performance management company, said on Sunday it signed an agreement to acquire management control of SMT Information Technology to strengthen its public sector business. The deal aims to combine Sherpa Soft’s database performance monitoring capabilities with SMT Information Technology’s strengths in public sector system integration maintenance and software development and supply. Sherpa Soft develops the Sherpa monitoring solution for commercial, open-source and cloud databases.
