Darktrace launches \'Secure AI\' to monitor corporate AI use

Darktrace has formally launched a security product called Secure AI to inspect the use of AI tools and AI agents inside companies. The product focuses on tracking and controlling corporate AI use that is spreading faster than security teams can manage. Darktrace said telemetry data from about 8,200 deployments showed that, as of August, more than 80 percent of monitored customer accounts used generative AI services, averaging five AI providers per organisation.

HNIX unveils IX-MATE AI development standard framework, steps up AX product development

IT services company HNIX on Wednesday launched IX-MATE, an AI development standard framework, and said it will jointly develop AX (AI Transformation) products with external specialist partners. The company will apply IX-MATE as an in-house standard and provide it externally bundled with supply and consulting. HNIX said the framework supports automated standard development processes, automated creation and accumulation of outputs by phase, and step-by-step validation.

Elice Group bets on Korean-style neocloud with modular AI data centres

Elice Group is pushing into a \"Korean-style neocloud\" business using modular AI data centres to strengthen price competitiveness, its CEO Kim Jae-won said. The company aims to cut construction costs and timelines, raise GPU utilisation and speed investment payback. Elice is operating a 10-megawatt AI data centre and plans to add 30 megawatts this year, with more buildout tied to demand and financing. It also sees exporting compute to overseas customers as a key opportunity.
