Younglimwon SoftLab, Samjong KPMG to hold IFRS 18 seminar on June 12

Enterprise solutions firm Younglimwon SoftLab will hold a seminar with Samjong KPMG on June 12 in Seoul to present response measures and a roadmap for International Financial Reporting Standard 18, which applies from 2027. Shinhan Bank is strengthening M&A and business succession advisory services for small and mid-sized companies, aiming to meet rising succession demand driven by ageing and lack of successors. The bank said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Samjong KPMG at its Shinhan PWM Yeouido Center in Seoul. Shinhan Bank plans to identify clients with succession and M&A needs and link acquisition finance with asset management, while Samjong KPMG will provide valuation and accounting and tax advice.

Enterprise solutions company Younglimwon SoftLab said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Samjong KPMG to improve the accounting audit response environment and expand the market for ERP-based audit support. The companies plan to combine Samjong KPMG’s practical audit insights with Younglimwon SoftLab’s ERP capabilities to help firms handle audit-related work more stably and consistently. Younglimwon will incorporate insights into its K-System ERP and enhance related functions.
