Salesforce agrees to buy AI customer research startup Listen Labs
Salesforce said it has agreed to acquire AI customer research startup Listen Labs. Terms were not disclosed, but the acquisition price previously discussed was about $2 billion. The deal was confirmed three weeks after reports of talks. Salesforce plans to close the transaction after regulatory approval, within the fourth quarter of its 2027 fiscal year. Listen Labs develops AI agents that recruit participants, run interviews and analyze responses, including digital twin-based simulations.
