Amazon\'s Mechanical Turk halts new customer sign-ups, effectively winding down
Amazon Web Services will stop registering new customers for its crowdsourcing service Mechanical Turk, which has operated for more than 20 years. Amazon says existing users will not be affected. Reports said the service is in maintenance and may be nearing closure.
