SK to sell Siltron to Doosan for 2.3 trillion won
SK Corp said on Thursday it signed a share purchase agreement to sell 47,322,350 common shares of SK Siltron to Doosan Corp for 2.3 trillion won, or 2.68% of SK Corp’s equity capital. The stake equals 70.6%. The deal is set to close on Jan. 31, 2027. SK Corp said the sale is aimed at strengthening financial soundness and securing funds for future growth.

SK to invest 1.4 trillion won to strengthen mutual growth with partners
SK signed a mutual growth agreement with partner companies and will expand its shared growth culture to second- and third-tier suppliers. The group held a signing ceremony at SKT Tower in central Seoul with seven affiliates and about 100 partner firms. Measures include improved payment terms, better trading practices, and expanded R&D and financial support. SK Hynix will inject 1.4 trillion won in new funds to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem.

SK On shifts to sole CEO Yong-wook Lee as Seok-hee Lee steps down
SK On will shift to a sole CEO structure led by Yong-wook Lee after Seok-hee Lee said he would step down as CEO at the end of May. The move ends the co-CEO system launched in October last year after about seven months. Lee cited health and stamina issues. His resignation was delayed until key management issues were wrapped up, including a restructuring of the BlueOval SK U.S. joint venture with Ford and a conversion of the Tennessee plant into a standalone entity.
