Sungwoo posts 760 million won Q2 operating profit, returns to profit year on year
Battery company Sungwoo said it posted consolidated second-quarter revenue of 24.7 billion won and an operating profit of 760 million won, for an operating margin of 3.1 percent. Revenue rose 19 percent from a year earlier and 4 percent from the previous quarter. Gross profit climbed to 3.9 billion won and net profit to 1.9 billion won. The company said it is investing about 5 percent of revenue in R&D and has secured materials to manage geopolitical risks.
