KISA says South Korean caching DNS operators should check new crypto key update
The Korea Internet & Security Agency urged operators of caching Domain Name System servers in South Korea to conduct checks ahead of a root zone DNSSEC key signing key replacement by ICANN on Oct. 12 at 0100 KST. KISA said caching DNS servers that do not reflect the new cryptographic key by the changeover may fail to resolve all domain names within about 48 hours, preventing users from accessing internet services.
