Nexon confirms title for new MMORPG \'Tembbal: Overgeared\'
Nexon confirmed the official title of its new massively multiplayer online role-playing game, previously known as \'Project T\', as \'Tembbal: Overgeared\' and on July 28 unveiled its BI and a teaser site. The game is based on the global IP \'Tembbal\', which has logged more than 1.3 billion cumulative views in South Korea and ranked highly on platforms in Asia and Japan. Nexon also opened official YouTube and KakaoTalk channels.

Nexon Q1 operating profit jumps 40 percent on MapleStory, Ark Raiders success
Nexon said it achieved its best-ever quarterly results on the back of global success for the MapleStory franchise and Ark Raiders. The company posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 1.42 trillion won and operating profit of 542.6 billion won, up 34 percent and 40 percent from a year earlier. Overseas revenue rose 59 percent. Nexon provided second-quarter revenue and profit guidance and outlined partnerships and upcoming game launches.

Wemade Max reorganises development structure around core projects
Wemade Max said on Wednesday it is reorganising its development system to strengthen game development competitiveness amid changes in the global market. It is reviewing the roles of development teams and project strategies and shifting resources to core projects such as Mir5 and Project T. The company also plans to bolster development and operations for the live-service title Mir4, expand staffing for PC and console projects including Midnight Walkers, and increase adoption of AI-based tools and automation.
