Perplexity launches \'Brain\' memory system for AI agent Computer

Perplexity has introduced a memory system called Brain for its AI agent, Computer, to store past task history and user edits. Decrypt reported the feature raised answer accuracy for repetitive tasks by 25 percent, improved recall by 16 percent and cut costs for context-heavy work by 13 percent. Perplexity said Brain records connectors, sources, edits and failed attempts, updates an overnight wiki and reloads it before tasks. It is available as a research preview for Max and Enterprise Max subscribers.
