Asus unveils 500W e-bike conversion kit for standard bicycles
Asus has unveiled the Oxiis E250G1, a retrofit electric-assist kit designed to add a motor and battery to an existing bicycle. The unit mounts on the seatpost and uses a roller that contacts the tire to provide assistance. It has a 250W rated output and 500W maximum, offers three riding modes, and includes a 158.4Wh removable battery. Asus says range is up to about 50 km in Eco mode.
