Managers use AI in employee reviews, raising questions over evaluation trust
One in three workplace managers has used artificial intelligence to write employee feedback or prepare performance reviews, a survey by Headway found. AI use also extends to resolving team conflicts and preparing difficult conversations. Usage in performance reviews fell from a similar survey a year earlier but remains significant. Experts warned AI can help organise thoughts but should not replace human interaction requiring trust and empathy. Workers also worry about AI-based monitoring tools.
