KakaoBank \'Our Child\' account and savings users top 500,000 in 4 months
KakaoBank said cumulative users of its parent-child deposit products, the \'Our Child Account\' and \'Our Child Savings\', surpassed 500,000 four months after launch. Users reached 100,000 in the first month and 300,000 in three months. Parents opening accounts were mainly in their 30s or younger and in their 40s. A survey found 7 in 10 customers had mothers managing the accounts. Children ranged from infants to middle-school students.
