Stablecoin payments may reach $262 billion by 2033 as AI solo entrepreneurs grow

Stablecoin payments could grow to $262 billion by 2033 as the number of AI-based solo entrepreneurs and freelancers rises, a forecast said. Australian crypto exchange Swyftx estimated the global gig economy and freelancer payments market will reach $2.1 trillion by 2033, with AI-native workers accounting for about $775 billion. Applying a base case in which 33 percent of payments use stablecoins, it projected stablecoin payment volumes of about $262 billion.

Binance users top 322.5 million

Global digital asset exchange Binance has surpassed 322.5 million users worldwide nine years after its founding. The company said total global digital asset users are estimated at about 700 million, and that about one in two users worldwide uses Binance. It cited trading infrastructure for institutional investors and professional traders, a developer-focused open network, and the expansion of its global community as drivers of growth.
