Ripple mints 10 million more RLUSD as institutional demand grows
Ripple minted an additional 10 million RLUSD stablecoins on the XRP Ledger, blockchain media outlet U.Today reported on Aug. 17. The issuance was processed from the RLUSD issuer account and finalised on the ledger the same day, with a fee of 0.000405 XRP, according to XRPScan. RLUSD circulation stands at 1.711 billion tokens, CoinGecko data showed, with about $58 million in 24-hour volume.

Ripple expands stablecoin as 15 million more RLUSD minted on Ethereum
Ripple minted an additional 15 million units of its RLUSD stablecoin on the Ethereum blockchain, extending a recent round of supply adjustments between the XRP Ledger and Ethereum. RLUSD issuance and burns have shifted distribution by chain, with Ethereum-based circulation topping $712 million and XRP Ledger-based circulation at about $873 million. In South Korea, major exchanges have started supporting RLUSD trading. Ripple also announced cooperation with payments infrastructure firm Notabene to integrate RLUSD into its Flow platform.

Ripple partners with Notabene, integrates RLUSD into B2B payments platform
Ripple is investing in compliance infrastructure firm Notabene and integrating its dollar-pegged stablecoin RLUSD into Notabene’s B2B payments platform, Notabene Flow. The companies plan to widen RLUSD’s use in institutional payments and review a compliance framework compatible with Ripple Payments. Notabene said it connects more than 2,300 institutions across over 100 jurisdictions and has annualised transaction volumes exceeding $2 trillion.
