Elliptic raises $120 million to expand institutional crypto monitoring
London-based blockchain analytics firm Elliptic raised $120 million in a funding round involving Nasdaq Ventures and Deutsche Bank. One Peak led the round, with participation from the British Business Bank, and Elliptic was valued at $610 million. The company plans to use the funds to expand AI-based monitoring and risk analysis tools. Elliptic provides software that tracks crypto transactions and identifies wallets linked to sanctions, fraud, ransomware and illicit funds.
