Polymarket launches prediction markets on OpenAI, Anthropic milestones
Polymarket has launched prediction-market contracts tied to milestones at private companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic. The products allow investors to bet on events including valuation thresholds, IPO timing and secondary-market moves, without holding shares or receiving voting rights. Settlement data will be provided exclusively by Nasdaq Private Market, which also plans to make valuation data previously available by subscription free. The launch targets limits on retail access to private-company investing.

SpaceX kicks off biggest-ever IPO, picks Goldman Sachs as lead underwriter
SpaceX has picked Goldman Sachs to lead its initial public offering syndicate and is preparing to release a prospectus, CNBC reported. The company filed listing documents confidentially with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last month and could publish the prospectus as soon as May 21. Morgan Stanley is set to follow Goldman, with Bank of America, Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase also participating.

Strive buys additional 382 bitcoin, keeps preferred share strategy
Nasdaq-listed asset manager Strive bought an additional 382 bitcoin for $30.3 million, lifting its total holdings to 15,391 bitcoin, CoinPost reported. The average purchase price was $79,348 per bitcoin. CEO Matt Cole said the holdings were worth 188.3 billion yen, or about 1.785 trillion won, at current market prices. Strive said it funds its strategy through perpetual preferred shares called SATA and reported bitcoin yield metrics of 18.4 percent year-to-date and 6.6 percent quarter-to-date.
