Nam Seok appointed to MSIT telecoms policy post vacant for 6 months
Nam Seok, director-general for investigation and coordination at the Personal Information Protection Commission, will be appointed telecommunications policy chief at the Ministry of Science and ICT, filling a post that has been vacant for six months, industry and government officials said. The job has been open since October, when the previous telecommunications policy chief was promoted. The post oversees telecoms licensing, legal and regulatory improvements, network usage fees and telecoms tariff terms.
