Grayscale, 21Shares urge U.S. SEC to speed ETF review, allow confidential draft filings
Crypto industry participants including Grayscale, 21Shares and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) have urged the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to make reviews of new exchange-traded products faster and more predictable. Proposals include allowing confidential draft submissions, shortening regulators’ response deadlines and permitting staking structures for spot crypto products. Some firms cautioned that rushing registration could weaken consultation and market-making feedback, while others opposed making the entire registration process nonpublic.

Privacy coin Zcash has risen 18 percent over the past three days, moving against a broader crypto market downturn. A cup-and-handle pattern on the ZEC/USD chart suggests further gains, with a potential rise to $1,091 in June or July if the pattern completes. The target overlaps a Fibonacci 1.618 extension. Zcash to launch quantum-recovery wallet within a month, aims full quantum-resistant shift by 2027
Zcash has presented a roadmap to launch a quantum-recovery wallet within a month and shift to a fully quantum-resistant system within 12 to 18 months. Josh Swihart (조시 스와이하트), founder and CEO of Zcash Open Development Lab, made the remarks at the Consensus event in Miami, Coindesk reported. Zcash is also pursuing scalability, including discussion of cutting target block time to 25 seconds from 75.
