Wemade launches MirM in China, aims to revive Legend of Mir2 glory

Wemade said on Monday it has officially launched MirM: Mo Guang Shuang Yong, an MMORPG, in China. The game reinterprets the world and core gameplay of the company’s Legend of Mir2 while retaining elements such as eight-direction grid combat and a quarter-view perspective. Wemade said it rebuilt key features for local standards and introduced a user-participation model, Mir Partners. It also selected action director Yuen Woo-ping as a promotional model.

Wemade to launch Mir M in China on Jan. 13

Wemade will officially launch its MMORPG Mir M: Mo Guang Shuang Long in China on Jan. 13, it said on Thursday. The PC and mobile title is newly developed based on the company’s core IP The Legend of Mir 2. Wemade said it retains the original game’s key systems while adding new content reflecting the latest Chinese game trends. It also introduces the Mir Partners program for user participation.
