Wemade said on Thursday it will officially launch its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Mir M: Mo Guang Shuang Long, or Mir M, in China on Jan. 13.
Mir M is a newly developed PC and mobile MMORPG based on Wemade's core intellectual property (IP) The Legend of Mir 2, which achieved major success in the Chinese market. It inherits the original title's distinctive fun elements and key systems while adding large amounts of new content reflecting the latest Chinese game trends.
Mir M will introduce the official partner program Mir Partners. Mir Partners is a new program designed to expand the influence of the Mir IP and build a user-centric participatory ecosystem. Users can become official partners and take part in game operations, promotion and community activities, and receive incentives and dedicated benefits based on performance such as their level of contribution.
Wemade said, "Through Mir M, we plan to carry on the authenticity of the Mir IP while providing a differentiated MMORPG experience with content optimized for the Chinese market."
