Tesla Model 3 seen entering 30 million won range in South Korea; FSD shifts to monthly subscription only
Tesla’s Model 3 Standard RWD with an NCM battery could enter the 30 million won price range in South Korea on higher 2026 subsidies, compared with LFP versions. Tesla is also releasing a seven-seat 2026 Model Y, with the option limited to a premium AWD Long Range variant. Elon Musk said Tesla will stop selling FSD as a one-off purchase, offering it only as a $99-a-month subscription after the 14th.

Mercedes-Benz halts U.S. launch of Level 3 Drive Pilot
Mercedes-Benz will halt the launch of its Drive Pilot Level 3 automated driving system in the United States, media reports said. The company has stopped production and will not apply the system to future new S-Class models. Drive Pilot operated only on limited highway sections in Nevada and California, with a top speed of 40 mph and strict daytime and weather requirements. It also required extra hardware and a $2,500 annual subscription fee.

Mercedes-Benz unveils MB.Drive Assist Pro for city driving in CLA prototype test
Mercedes-Benz unveiled MB.Drive Assist Pro, a new advanced driver assistance system designed for urban environments as well as highways, and demonstrated it in San Francisco using a next-generation CLA prototype. The Nvidia Drive AV-based system offers enhanced Level 2 point-to-point assistance but requires drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and watch the road. Mercedes emphasises multi-sensor fusion, redundant algorithms and quarterly over-the-air updates. Pricing has not been disclosed.
