Bending Spoons to buy Airtable for $1.28 billion
Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire spreadsheet and database startup Airtable for $1.28 billion in cash, TechCrunch reported on Aug. 4. The deal is Bending Spoons\' first acquisition since it went public last month. Founded in 2013, Airtable has raised more than $1.4 billion and was valued above $11 billion in 2021, but was reportedly valued at about $4 billion earlier this year.
