Nexon launches domestic PC Overwatch service with season 4 update
Nexon said on Tuesday it has started domestic season 4 service for the PC game Overwatch, developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Nexon will provide service as the domestic publisher, allowing play via Nexon.com and Nexon Plug in addition to the Battle.net launcher. It will give linked-account users loot boxes and other items, and offer additional rewards for those who linked in advance. Season 4 adds new content, including a new Korean hero, and Nexon will run events and hold an offline user gathering in Busan.

Nexon to publish Blizzard\'s Overwatch in South Korea; service to start Aug. 12
Nexon will take charge of South Korea PC publishing for Blizzard Entertainment\'s shooting game Overwatch and introduce a new live service, it said on Monday. The official service will begin on Aug. 12 alongside the Season 4 update. The companies plan Korea-tailored content and PC bang services. Users can link Nexon and Battle.net accounts through Aug. 11, keeping all existing items and progress and receiving rewards if linkage is maintained.

Sensor Tower forecasts top 100 mobile games to generate $53 billion in revenue this year
Sensor Tower forecast global revenue from the top 100 mobile games will reach $53 billion this year. In its “2026 Mobile Game Monetisation Trend Insights” report released on May 14, it said revenue for the top 100 games rose steadily from 2022 through last year, reaching about $46.6 billion. It projects the group will account for about 58 percent of total mobile game revenue this year.
