Another ultra-powerful Chinese AI model to follow GLM-5.2 as Moonshot AI\'s Kimi K3 draws attention
Chinese AI startup Moonshot AI is set to release a large language model it says rivals U.S. frontier models. The Financial Times reported the company will launch its largest model, Kimi K3, within days, citing two people familiar with the matter. K3 is expected to have 2 to 3 trillion parameters. Sources said it could beat Anthropic’s Opus 4.8 on key benchmarks and be available for free download as an open-weight model.
