Elon Musk becomes Republicans\' biggest donor with $276 million ahead of U.S. midterms
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has donated at least $276 million to Republican-linked groups ahead of the U.S. midterm elections in November, making him the largest disclosed individual donor. The biggest recipient was the Senate Leadership Fund super PAC, which received $158 million. Musk also contributed more than $76 million to America PAC and gave to groups backing House candidates, a Texas Senate bid and the Republican Governors Association.
