Kakao runs practical AI business course to support small merchants and startups
Kakao will provide training and mentoring to help small merchants and startups nationwide apply AI to business and marketing. The company said it will run the “Kakao Class-Practical AI Business Course” with 11 Creative Economy Innovation Centers. The program includes online classes, an AI camp, one-on-one mentoring and awards. Online education runs from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, and applications are open until Nov. 27.

Kakao holds Compliance Awards to honor crews for fair trade, shared growth results
Kakao said on May 18 it held its Kakao Compliance Awards to recognize organizations and employees for contributions to fair trade order and shared growth cooperation. The awards aim to strengthen an autonomous compliance culture by offering incentives for those who helped spread the company’s fair trade compliance program. Awardees included teams and staff credited with helping Kakao win a presidential citation on Fair Trade Day in April.

Kakao wins presidential citation at 25th Fair Trade Day for small business cooperation
Kakao said on Tuesday it received a presidential citation at an event marking the 25th Fair Trade Day in Seoul for cooperation in the mobile gift certificate market and contributions to small merchants\' digital transition. The company said it helped develop shared-growth models such as lowering fees and shortening settlement cycles, and participated in revising standard terms to raise refunds for expired mobile gift certificates.
