PayPal names HP CEO Enrique Lores as new chief executive
PayPal has appointed HP CEO Enrique Lores as its new chief executive and chairman, TechCrunch reported on Monday. The board decided to replace Alex Chriss, who joined PayPal from Intuit in September 2023, after judging the pace of change at the company fell short of expectations. CFO and COO Jamie Miller will act as interim CEO until Lores joins. The leadership change comes as PayPal’s latest quarterly results missed estimates.
