Google Cloud launches Google Security Operations platform in Seoul region to support data sovereignty for South Korean firms
Google Cloud said on Tuesday it will support local data residency for Google Security Operations in its Google Cloud Seoul Region. The company said it aims to help customers meet data governance and data residency requirements. It described Google Security Operations as a Google threat intelligence and AI-based security operations platform designed to provide speed, scale and insights for threat response and to strengthen agentic cyber defence capabilities for South Korean companies.
