Microsoft integrates SOC into Defender as it reshapes security operations around AI agents
Microsoft has introduced an Integrated Security Operations Center (ISOC) in Microsoft Defender, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday. The move is part of an effort to reorganize security operations products around AI agents, with SIEM functions previously in Microsoft Sentinel now offered in Defender. Microsoft said Sentinel features such as case management and workbooks can be used in the Defender portal, while some capabilities require additional setup. A public preview is available to certain license customers.
