Google unveils new AI model Gemini 4 Argon, to roll out in stages starting with security partners
Google has unveiled a new AI model, Gemini 4 Argon, aimed at improving performance for specialised work such as coding, cybersecurity, finance and law. The company plans to roll it out in stages, starting with cybersecurity partners. Google said Argon has stronger cybersecurity capabilities and vulnerability detection than its earlier 3.8 Flash Cyber model. It plans safety evaluations with the U.S. government before a wider release and is already using Argon internally.
