Pearl Abyss unveils \'Home One\' infrastructure in Gwacheon for Crimson Desert development

Pearl Abyss on Feb. 24 showcased development facilities at its new Gwacheon headquarters, \'Home One\', for open-world action adventure game Crimson Desert, due for a global simultaneous release on March 20. The company highlighted a motion capture studio with 114 optical cameras linked in real time to its BlackSpace Engine, an audio suite using Foley recording, and a 3D scan studio with up to 272 cameras for 360-degree capture.

Prime Minister Kim Min-seok visits Nexon, vows to boost game industry and protect users

Prime Minister Kim Min-seok visited Nexon\'s headquarters in Pangyo on Jan. 15 to review the state of the game industry and hear industry views. He called games and e-sports a core part of content culture and said games account for 70 percent of current content exports. Kim said the government would discuss support for the sector while promoting the industry and protecting users. He also toured a sound studio and watched a Foley demonstration.
