Arthur Hayes pushes FLOP derivatives to price AI computing power
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes (아서 헤이즈) has outlined a plan to make AI computing power a tradable product through the FLOP network. He proposed measuring compute delivered for each AI inference task, using transaction data to calculate a FLOP-denominated spot price, and expanding into derivatives. The plan links to Flop Labs’ network development for AI agents to pay for computing and decentralized memory services, with a large airdrop planned for 2026.
