WisdomTree launches tokenised mutual fund for 24/7 trading after SEC approval
WisdomTree has launched the WisdomTree Treasury Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX), a tokenised mutual fund that can be traded 24 hours a day with instant settlement, after receiving an SEC exemptive approval. The Block reported the launch on Feb. 24. WTGXX is a registered open-end mutual fund that invests in U.S. Treasuries and other government securities and has approval from the SEC and FINRA. Settlement is conducted via stablecoins.
