FortyTwoDot pushes open SDV collaboration with 32 global companies
FortyTwoDot said on Thursday it has joined the Eclipse Foundation in cooperation with the German Association of the Automotive Industry as part of efforts to strengthen the software-defined vehicle ecosystem. It signed a memorandum of understanding with the group for a project involving 32 global companies, including automakers and suppliers. The work will centre on Eclipse SDV’s open-source S-CORE software stack, aiming to cut time and costs by up to 40 percent and reduce time to market by up to 30 percent.
