KT to check network quality ahead of May holidays, strengthen customer protection
KT will check network conditions at major outing destinations nationwide ahead of May holidays and the Family Month period. The company said it will inspect communications quality to prepare for higher traffic and also review the operating status of customer protection services. KT has carried out call-quality optimisation and wireless network checks at about 500 sites expected to see more visitors. It will run a 24-hour special monitoring system and continue efforts to prevent voice phishing and illegal spam.
