Samsung Electronics hits 3 Gbps downlink speed in 7 GHz 6G test

Samsung Electronics said on Thursday it, KT and Keysight Technologies successfully verified an ultra-high-density multi-antenna technology in the 7 GHz band, a core frequency for 6G standards. The companies reached an industry-leading maximum downlink speed of 3 Gbps, about twice that of 5G, in tests using a prototype base station and a 6G test device in a simulated network environment.

Chainlink expands oracle with U.S. stock market data

Chainlink has expanded its Data Streams product to support data for U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds, Coindesk reported on Jan. 20. The move is intended to help decentralised trading platforms reflect accurate stock prices during premarket, postmarket and overnight trading. Previously, U.S. stock feeds were available only during regular hours, forcing decentralised exchanges to halt trading or take on risk. Chainlink said it plans to address related liquidity problems.
