Trump family-linked American Bitcoin to carry out 1-for-15 reverse stock split after record low
American Bitcoin, a bitcoin mining company co-founded by Eric Trump, will carry out a 1-for-15 reverse stock split to meet Nasdaq Capital Market minimum price requirements. The move will take effect after the market close on July 2, with trading on the new basis starting July 6. Shares have hit record lows and fallen sharply over the past month and year. The share count will drop to about 73 million, with no change in market value.

Asset manager Strive bought 73 more bitcoin for $4.7 million, lifting its total holdings to 19,105 BTC. The purchase was made between June 8 and 14 at an average price of about $63,646 per coin, according to an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Strive said it is pursuing a bitcoin-focused treasury strategy and plans to shift SATA’s annual 13 percent monthly dividend to a business-day daily dividend method from June 16.

Asset manager Strive bought an additional 32 bitcoins this month, raising its total holdings to 19,032 BTC. It bought the coins from June 2 to 7 at an average price of $63,911 each, for about $2.1 million including fees and expenses. A filing also reported changes in cash and cash equivalents, the fair value of STRC preferred shares and the number of shares outstanding, alongside an expansion plan for market-sale programs.
