Secret Network bridge hit by \'infinite mint\' bug, $4.67 million stolen
An exploit using an infinite-issuance bug in a vulnerable Secret Network smart contract stole about $4.67 million, Cointelegraph reported on Sunday. The hack occurred on June 10 but was detected on June 17. Blockchain research firm Common Prefix said suspicious activity was spotted after cross-chain transactions failed with an \"insufficient balance\" error. Stolen assets included saUSDT, saUSDC and saWETH, among others.

XRP $10 not impossible, but needs $600 billion market cap
Crypto trading platform ChangeNow released a long-term XRP price outlook for 2026 to 2035, citing liquidity, adoption, market access and regulation as key drivers. It projected year-end ranges by bullish, base and bearish scenarios through 2030, and a wider band for 2035. ChangeNow calculated XRP would need about a $300 billion market capitalisation at $5 and about $600 billion at $10, with $20 requiring a trillion-dollar valuation.

On June 1, Cryptopolitan selected ChangeNOW, Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini and Bitstamp as the most trustworthy exchanges this year, saying trust in 2026 comes from verifiable structure. It cited exchange collapses and hacks as drivers of the change and highlighted proof of reserves and asset storage methods.
