Samsung Electronics returns to PC chip market after more than 10 years. What is it really aiming for?
Samsung Electronics is developing an AI PC chip called Gaia, marking a return to the PC chip market after more than 10 years. The effort coincides with the launch of its Galaxy Book6 Edge laptop using Qualcomm\'s Snapdragon processor. Qualcomm targets budget AI laptop market with Snapdragon C
Qualcomm Technologies Inc. on Thursday unveiled its Snapdragon C Platform processor for budget PCs, targeting laptops priced at about $300. The company said the chip is aimed at students, household users and small businesses. Acer, HP and Lenovo plan to launch products using the processor in the second half of this year. Qualcomm said the platform focuses on power efficiency, longer battery life and on-device AI through an integrated NPU.

C Platform accelerates push into pharma and biotech AX market
