Blockchain data startup Allium raises $40 million
Blockchain data startup Allium raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Amplify Partners. Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Ventures also participated, lifting Allium\'s total funding to about $61.5 million. The company collects, refines and standardises on-chain data across more than 150 blockchains and makes it available for queries by financial institutions, developers and analytics platforms. It counts Visa, Stripe, Coinbase and a16z Crypto as customers.

Blockworks acquires Messari, expands crypto data integration
Blockworks has acquired crypto research and analytics firm Messari for more than $10 million, Cointelegraph reported on June 12. The deal is expected to expand Blockworks\' cryptocurrency data and research business. Messari raised $35 million in a 2022 Series B round and was valued at about $300 million at the time. The Wall Street Journal said the lower price reflects sluggish performance at Messari and broader weakness across the crypto industry.
