S&P gives BlackRock tokenised reserve fund top stability rating
BlackRock’s new tokenised money market fund has received AAAm, S&P Global Ratings’ highest principal stability fund rating. The rating applies to the BlackRock Daily Reinvestment Stablecoin Reserve Vehicle (BRSRV). S&P said it reflected investment assets, counterparty creditworthiness, maturity structure and managers’ ability to maintain a stable net asset value. The tokenisation framework was also assessed, including controls to reduce cyber, smart contract and blockchain network risks.
