Peter Schiff says Strategy is now a bitcoin seller, warns of death spiral risk
Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff raised the risk of a “death spiral” after Strategy unveiled a program that allows it to sell bitcoin if needed to bolster dollar reserves and fund payouts and buybacks. Strategy said it could raise up to $1.25 billion and includes up to $1 billion each for repurchasing digital credit securities and Class A common shares. CFO Andrew Kang said the company is not forced to sell and holds about $2.55 billion in dollar reserves.
