Nexon posts record first-half revenue of 2.56 trillion won, driven by MapleStory and Arc Raiders
Nexon said growth in the MapleStory franchise and the success of Arc Raiders helped it post record first-half revenue, operating profit and net profit. Second-quarter revenue rose 2 percent to 1.14 trillion won, while operating profit fell 17 percent and net profit jumped 77 percent. First-half revenue reached 2.56 trillion won. Nexon also plans a 3 trillion won special dividend in late September and provided third-quarter guidance ranges.

Nexon Q1 operating profit jumps 40 percent on MapleStory, Ark Raiders success
Nexon said it achieved its best-ever quarterly results on the back of global success for the MapleStory franchise and Ark Raiders. The company posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 1.42 trillion won and operating profit of 542.6 billion won, up 34 percent and 40 percent from a year earlier. Overseas revenue rose 59 percent. Nexon provided second-quarter revenue and profit guidance and outlined partnerships and upcoming game launches.

Nexon to hold closed beta test for new title Azur Promilia on May 15
Nexon will begin its first test in South Korea for new title Azur Promilia in mid-May as it moves toward an official launch. The company said on Wednesday it will start a closed beta test for the fantasy world RPG, being developed by Manjuu Games, on May 15. The four-day test will run on PC (Windows) and mobile (Android) for selected participants who applied in advance.
