U.S. strategic Bitcoin reserve bill clears House panel, bars sales for 20 years

The U.S. House Financial Services Committee approved legislation that would bar the federal government from selling or transferring Bitcoin it holds for 20 years. The bill still needs approval by the full House and the Senate. It would require the Treasury Department to overhaul custody systems within 180 days and mandate audits by an independent third party. Ripple\'s RLUSD market cap tops $2 billion; XRP Ledger issuance exceeds $1 billion
