Huawei seen leading China\'s AI chip market share this year on 60 percent growth

Huawei fills Nvidia gap as Shenzhen launches 10,000-card AI cluster
China\'s southern tech hub Shenzhen has begun operating large-scale computing infrastructure based on Huawei\'s domestically made AI chips, accelerating its AI self-reliance strategy. Shenzhen launched a 10,000-card intelligent computing cluster using Huawei\'s Ascend 910C chips, a first large domestic-chip build in China. Performance reached about 11,000 petaflops, taking total capacity to about 14,000 petaflops after a second-stage expansion, with bookings reported at 92 percent.
